![]() I would expect this level of terribleness in some freeware thing, but not a $150+ program. The software is very good at what it does, however, but DEAR GOOD FUCKING HOLY SHIT FUCKING GOD do they need to do some usability testing! It REEKS of being designed by engineers. I'm way late but I have both the Silverfast (Silverfast+HDR) products using a Plustek 8200i scanner. Okay anyways, would really appreciate having some feedback. ![]() What's the deal with SF and licenses? Can you use the same license with different scanners or different OS'? Like let's say i feel like scanning on my mac today, and tomorrow on my windows vm. Perhaps i'm wrong and there actually is a similar feature on vuescan. It seems like vuescan has a dust removal sort of thing but not anything close to negafix which sucks. Would it?Īfter watching lot of reviews on youtube i can say I prefer SF over vuescan, what I really really like about SF is the dust removal option and negafix. This question's been asked a few times already, i've been doing my research for the last month or so but I feel like I need to ask again before spending around 100 euros.Īs far as I know vuescan supports linux just fine so that'd be one less thing to worry about, Silverfast 8 doesn't which means I'd have to run the software on a Windows 10 virtual machine, which is not a big deal but I don't know if this would cause any problems when scanning. ![]()
